Path of Exile 2 is an upcoming action role-playing video game developed and published by Grinding Gear Games. A sequel to Pathof Exile (2013),the game was released as a paid early access title for Windows PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on December 6, 2024.

Gameplay
Path of Exile 2 is an isometric action role-playing dungeon crawling video game. system with 240 active skill gems and 200 support gems. There will be twelve character classes that have three ascendancy classes each.
Early Access Features
Six launch classes (Warrior, Monk, Mercenary, Sorceress, Witch, Ranger) offer access to half the campaign across two difficulties and an updated endgame. Remaining classes (Druid, Huntress, etc.) and 100+ endgame maps with legacy league mechanics will release later.
Strategic Combat
Path of Exile 2 emphasizes strategic boss figh timing/positioning and multi-skill synergy (e.g., igniting gas clouds, striking magic bells with staves, or combining lightning arrows with conductive rods). Endgame transitions to an infinite Atlas system of procedurally generated maps teeming with monsters, dynamic bosses, and roaming merchants.
